Education
We support Public education by advocating for Public school funding and speaking out against the Republican Party's proposed voucher programs
Additionally, Texas Democratic Women of Hood County host an Annual Scholarship fundraiser.
Demonstration
Whether it's marching around the court house to protest against anti-abortion legislation, cheering outside the High School to show support for the LGBTQ students, or writing letters to the editor, the Hood County Democrats publicly stand up for our democratic values as much as possible.
